Scott Fuller
Scott is a founding partner of Database Communications and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration in Marketing and Organisational Behaviour from Victoria University.
Scott has been working in marketing for 20 years starting with Ford Motor Company in the Sales and Marketing Office working with the dealer network on profitability and promotions.
Following 4 years in Europe, Scott returned and established the international mail order firm Damart Thermolactyl. Damart's business-to-consumer database targeted the communication program based on value and purchase behaviour. All product and advertising spend decision making was based on the information held within the database.
With Telecom New Zealand Limited Scott was Project Manager of the Marketing Database Project. He managed a team of 30 staff to design the processes and functional specifications to enable Telecom to segment, predict and measure the impact of communications to manage customer relationships.
Scott has for the last ten years been working with both corporate and smaller business clients defining marketing structures to support data driven communications and developing marketing and customer management plans to leverage relationships and marketing data.
Scott has frequently addressed seminars and conferences, was a member of the Relationship Marketing Project, run by the Center for Information Studies at Auckland University and having completed eight years on the National Board of the New Zealand Direct Marketing Association, the last 4 as Chairman, he was awarded a Life Membership in 1999. Scott currently donates his time as a mentor at the Technology Incubator in Wellington.
Brent Wenlock
Brent has been involved in sales and marketing since 1985, seven years of that time as Marketing Director of a direct marketing services bureau, until co-founding Database Communications.
This experience allows Brent to both consider direct marketing strategy as an integral part of overall marketing strategy, and to develop and implement the end-to-end management process required to develop and implement marketing programmes.
Brent has during 19 years of face-to-face selling experience, had specific responsibility for managing sales teams, developing and implementing successful ongoing sales and relationship programmes.
Brent's expertise in marketing includes technical knowledge relating to information capture and management. He also has extensive experience with production processes, systems development and hardware capabilities.
Brent has also worked with and facilitated large teams working on key direct marketing programmes and developing formalised marketing processes, specifying the roles of individuals, the systems integration and supplier relationships, to establish procedures and standards to optimise efficiency.
Matthew Delmarter
Matthew has 10 years experience in the IT industry. His areas of expertise include database design, application development and website development. He leads our team of Web Developers, and is tasked with providing the technical architecture and expertise to underpin the company's vision and strategic direction.
Prior to joining Database Communications Matthew was the Technical Director for Xplore.net, working on complex internet-based solutions in the areas of Content Management, Ecommerce, Advertising and Email Marketing. With a passion for "Best Practice" and Web Standards Matthew was responsible for overseeing the delivery of services from both technical and service-oriented perspectives.
Prior to Xplore.net Matthew worked with one of New Zealand's first Internet Service Providers and thus intimately understands the technical and architectural issues involved with Internet-based services.
Matthew has also successfully run his own Internet business and designed and developed several award-winning solutions. His pride in both the appearance and technical aspects of website development was acknowledged when he received the 1998 Advertising Institute of New Zealand Award for "Excellence in Website Design". He has also built information systems and software now being used by hundreds of clients.
Debbie Thom
Debbie's career focus has been on direct marketing campaign implementation. Debbie is an expert set up operator with an incredible eye for detail. She has a remarkable ability to logistically manage a number of campaigns at one time while meeting delivery deadlines. Her experience spans a number of organisations including Anderson Business Services, Datamail, and contract work for Bank of New Zealand Marketing and Bank of New Zealand ProPrint.
Debbie holds a New Zealand Diploma in Business and the New Zealand Certificate of Direct Marketing.
Brendan O'Ceallaigh
As our Business Analyst Brendan's main focus is on working with clients to create the best solution to fulfill their needs. As a result of this close working relationship with clients Brendan also manages some of our clients ensuring that their expectations are always met and delivered.
Brendan holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics and Information Studies from University College Dublin. He has 8 years experience working in the in the Information Technology and Website industry. Brendan has worked in both Ireland and New Zealand with large and small organizations.
Brendan has extensive systems experience with a strong focus on data management and solution design. Coming from an analyst background gives Brendan the skills and experience to successfully map business requirements to solutions. His diverse range of project experience provides extensive knowledge across multiple business types.
